FAQs

Spotty or "frosted candles" and soy wax

This is very common with soy wax and completely natural. It will not effect the burn of your candle in any way.  Soy wax is an amazing wax that is all natural and clean burning, as well as vegan. Soy wax is biodegradable and cleans up with soap and warm water. No crazy wax spills that are a hassle.

How do I take care of my wood wick candle?

Wood wick care and instructions:

Wooden candlewicks need to be trimmed before lighting almost even with the wax (1/8") to ensure a clean burning candle and better crackling sound. Standard toenail clippers are an excellent tool for this job since wooden wicks are thicker and cannot be trimmed with scissors. If your candle does happen to smoke, extinguish the flame, trim the wick smaller and light the candle again.  We use highly scented wax to create our candles, which plays a role in how well the wick will burn. Burn times will always vary depending on the placement of your candle; drafty areas will burn slightly quicker. Please make sure to burn your candle all the way to the edges (especially on the first burn)

We cannot be responsible for lost, damaged or stolen items once they leave our hands.
